WHAT TO EXPECT

  • The MicroSeal Service Representative will arrive within a half hour of your scheduled appointment time, or they will call you. 

  • The MicroSeal application time is quick, safe, non-toxic and non-allergenic. Do not be alarmed if the MicroSeal Representative wears a respirator; this is a precautionary measure because of their possible extended periods of repetitive applications. 

  • Overspray will occur and is completely normal; MicroSeal will not damage woodwork, metal, paint, or glass. Most of the overspray will be wiped dry and the remaining will dry quickly with no residue. 

  • MicroSeal will protect all fabrics, wool, cotton, silk, blends, synthetics, including all leathers. 

  •  An entire room of furnishings and carpeting can typically be protected in less than one hour. 

  • The fabric or carpet does not have to be clean as MicroSeal will not seal in dirt or stains. 

  • Dry time is about 30 minutes. The items may be used after the dry time. Cure time is 4 days before protection if fully effective. 

  • Upholstery cushions and pillows will be removed for application and remain removed to allow for drying [30 minutes]. You may return cushions and pillows to their normal position approximately 30 minutes after application. 

  • Applications and overspray may leave flooring slippery before drying; please exercise caution to avoid slips and falls. 

  • MicroSeal will not wear off over the average lifetime of your fabric or carpet. Reapplication after cleaning is unnecessary. 

  • MicroSeal is California VOC compliant when wet and emits zero VOCs when dry. 

  • Application includes a Lifetime Service Warranty.

 

AFTER APPLICATION

UPHOLSTERY SPILLS

Check cleaning instructions tag. If none, check with sales person or seek manufacturer’s instruction. If no instructions are available, assume it is a “dry clean only fabric”. Blot spill with a dry cotton or paper towel. If stain persists, immediately contact a cleaning professional for cleaning. Do not use water on dry clean only fabrics. “Dry clean only” upholstery should be addressed by a professional.

CARPET + RUG SPILLS

Blot with a dry cotton or paper towel. If stain persists, use a spray bottle with 50% water and 50% white distilled vinegar, lightly mist and continue blotting. Be careful not to rub too vigorously as this may cause permanent fabric distortion. If stain persists, immediately contact a cleaning professional for cleaning.

MicroSeal Chattanooga offers a Lifetime Service Warranty. 
This Warranty commences from the date of the MicroSeal application and the conclusion of the MicroSeal cure period under normal and customary use, as described in this Warranty. 

1. Excluded Events. This Warranty does not apply if any of the following occurs: 

Abusive treatment of carpet, fabric or textile. For purposes of this exclusion, “abusive treatment” means: 

a. Any treatment outside normal and customary wear and tear. 

b. Stains from products such as iodine, bleach, ink and dye products. 

c. Fire and/or stains or soiling caused by fire or flame. 

d. Mildew and/or mold staining. 

e. Any attempted cleaning or soil/stain correction by a person or entity other than a licensed Professional Cleaner.

2. Dry Time and Cure Period. For purposes of this Warranty, the treated carpet and/or fabric or textile requires a minimum of a one (1) hour dry time before walking on carpet or handling fabric or textile. The cure period under this Warranty is a minimum of four (4) days. 

3. Covered Events. Other than the excluded events described in paragraph 1, all other soiling/stains on the treated carpet, fabric or textile, including but not limited to sun fading, are covered hereunder. 

4. Warranty Procedures. In order to activate this Warranty, each customer must follow the following procedures: 

(a) Immediately blot up any spill with a dry cotton or paper towel. Do not use water on any fabric that has “dry clean only” instructions from the manufacturer. 

(b) Be careful not to rub or push the spill further into the carpet, fabric or textile. 

(c) If material is not “dry clean only,” place a moist, white towel on the stain or spill. 

(d) Contact a licensed Professional Cleaner twenty-four (24) hours following a spill or staining and schedule a cleaning service [cleaner service charge applies].

(e) If the furniture or textile cleaning under this Warranty is unsuccessful, contact MicroSeal Chattanooga.  MicroSeal Chattanooga will refund the customer the full cost of the initial MicroSeal application upon proof of attempted professional cleaning.

(5) Warranty Parameters:

WARRANTY DOES NOT APPLY TO COMMERCIAL APPLICATIONS.

EXCEPT AS SPECIFIED IN THIS WARRANTY, ALL EXPRESS OR IMPLIED COVENANTS, CONDITIONS, REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY FOR MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR CONDITIONS OF QUALITY AND THOSE ARISING BY STATUTE OR OTHERWISE IN LAW, ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED. FURTHERMORE AND THE OBLIGATIONS OF MICROSEAL CHATTANOOGA EXPRESSLY STATED IN THIS WARRANTY ARE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER REPRESENTATIONS, WARRANTIES, COVENANTS OR CONDITIONS EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.

IN NO EVENT WILL MICROSEAL CHATTANOOGA BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGE IN CONNECTION WITH, OR RELATED TO, THIS WARRANTY (INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, USE, DATA, OR OTHER ECONOMIC ADVANTAGE), HOWSOEVER ARISING, EITHER OUT OF BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY, INCLUDING BREACH OF WARRANTY, OR IN TORT, EVEN IF THE OTHER PARTY HAS BEEN PREVIOUSLY ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE.
